Hyaluronic Acid (Filler) in Winterthur

Both collagen and hyaluronic acid are important components of the skin. They significantly contribute to elasticity and hydration of the skin. The aging process leads to a loss of these two important skin components and ultimately will cause sagging skin. After being injected into the skin, fillers create a cushion under wrinkles and thus have an immediately visible effect on the skin surface appearance. The stimulus of the injection itself and the injected product also promotes the formation of new collagen, a main component of the skin.

Which wrinkles can be treated?

Almost all wrinkles can be treated with hyaluronic acid, whether they are due to facial expressions or loss of collagen through aging. Frequently treated areas are nasolabial folds, marionette lines and wrinkles around the mouth. The treatment will smooth out superficial wrinkles, while deep wrinkles are mainly reduced to give the face a younger and softer appearance. In addition, sunken facial regions (e.g., lacrimal ducts, cheeks) caused by loss of subcutaneous fat can be replenished. For fine lines and superficial wrinkles, on the other hand, a JetPeel treatment, fractionated radiofrequency, chemical peeling or microdermabrasion may be more suitable.

How often can the treatment be repeated?

To achieve a long-lasting result, it is advisable to repeat the filler injection as soon as the effect begins to wear off. We recommend a touch-up after 6-12 months. Occasionally, it is necessary to perform the treatment in several sessions spaced over 1-2 weeks to obtain an optimal result.
